Information collected when you shop or contact us
When you place an order, we collect information needed to process and deliver it, including your name, email address, billing and shipping addresses, order details and any personalization text you provide. Checkout may also collect a phone number if you choose to provide one. Personalization text becomes part of the order record.
If you create an account, we store the account information you provide. If you contact us or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the information submitted in that form, such as your email address and message. Product reviews may display the review text and reviewer name publicly.
How information is used
We use customer information to fulfill and personalize orders, process payments, arrange delivery, provide order and tracking updates, respond to questions, maintain customer accounts, protect the store from misuse and maintain business records. Newsletter subscription information is used for store updates and marketing communications. You can contact us to request that marketing messages stop.
Payments and service providers
Payments are handled through WooPayments and its payment partners, including Stripe. Payment information is processed under those providers’ privacy notices. Information needed for delivery is provided to the shipping services used for your order.
The store uses WordPress and WooCommerce and is hosted through Bluehost. Hosting, payment, shipping and other service providers may process information needed to operate their services.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Cookies and similar technologies support functions such as the shopping cart, checkout and account login. The store is configured to use Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure site visits, product interactions and advertising performance. These technologies may process browser or device information, online identifiers and interaction or attribution data. Google explains its processing in its privacy notices and advertising controls.
Browser settings can restrict cookies, although blocking necessary cookies may affect shopping features.
Retention and privacy requests
Order, account, communication and operational records are retained for the periods needed for the purposes described above and applicable business or legal obligations.
You can contact admin@etchlab.com to request information about your personal data or ask for correction or deletion. We may need to verify a request and retain records that are required for legal, accounting, security or order-related purposes.
